My Fun Trip to Reno!
My trip to Reno was cooool as in "cold".It all started after I came back from school on Friday.I had to go straight to my room and change. Everyone was in a big rush for some reason.It was like we were racing against the other families.I bet you are wondering who the other families are ,aren't you?Just to let you know ..you don't need to know them right now.After a little while you will know almost all of the families and their children, so don't worry.
Let's just get back to my trip now, ok...
My dad and mom gave me a turkey sandwich and some chips before we left.In the middle of the drive I asked them , "How much time does it take to reach Reno?" You would be startled by the answer ,can you guess how much ? 5 long hours!!
We were going to Reno by car , it was a good thing that we had TV in out car.But I had to search for a good movie .My sister Tamanna though is another story.She has the best movies ,so in the car whenever she falls asleep especially on long trips, I take movies from her bin.But by now I had watched all of Tamanna's movie collection .And that's where my dad took place.He gave me the movie 3 Idiots.I saw the glory of the movie and blessed it with happiness:).I took it from my dad's hand and put it in.I thought the movie was incredible,so I watched it without sleeping. I'd be impressed if I were you ,because before I put the movie in I asked my dad" how much more time to reach Reno?" .He said only 3 more hours..I didn't care much then since I was watching the movie ,but the movie was still not over after we reached Reno.
Well, we reached Reno and we were second to reach.Guess how we found that out?Guess who's family was waiting in the elevator?It was Arun uncle's family ..there was Arun uncle ,Radhika aunty,my naughty friend Niel,and his older brother Ashwin.(FYI my mom's name is also Radhika!)After we reached the hotel, my family and Arun uncles family were starving to death.So we went to this restaurant called Hash House A Go Go.Niel and I ordered a hamburger.They were gigantic!I can't believe Niel finished up everything! He must have been really hungry....But before I could even take my first bite there entered Swetha and her royal family.In her royal family there is Swetha,her sister Sneha,her dad Ajith uncle ,and her mom Nishi aunty.After they came everyone else came exept for Anu's family. To tell you the truth I don't know the names of some of the families.There were many families joining us for the trip.. Guess it is Ok not to know everyone,huh??
Well ,by the next day everyone was there.The parents were deciding which skiing place to go to.Finally they chose Soda Springs,the good thing is that I learned how to ski and I loved it!! The best part was that we skied the whole day ..but then da, da , da, da,(scary music )my dad gets a speeding ticket!!! The cop was a nice person, though...but my dad still has to pay money for speeding.
At night it was totally different!We went to ELDORADO,and ate in a chinese resturant and I ate spaggetti .The families were all seated separate during dinner.But the moms were soooo lucky, they got to go to a show without us.But we got to watch "Chipwrecked " because the dads were out.The scary thing is that there were no parents, so all the kids had to be in Ashwin's room.The movie was nice.
The next day I went to a buffet and ate so many things ,I almost couldn't eat lunch.After breakfast we headed straight to Lake Tahoe.I finished 3 Idiots ,it was kind of gross at the end.But after we reached Lake Tahoe it was freezing,but it looked so hot.After playing for a while we went back to our resort.All the ladies and girls ate lunch outside.Then after lunch we went to Circus Circus.I won 4 prizes from there, but my sister claims it all hers.Then she got a toy from Swetha which made me kind of sad,because I didn't get it.
On Monday everyone left without eating breakfast.I watched 3 Idiots again,but this time in the middle my dad bought my sister and I some chips.Eventually, I fell asleep after finishing everything.But after I woke up it turned out that we were going to eat our brunch on the best place on earth,Red Chillies!!That too I ate with my friends -Niel, Avani, and Ashwin. After we reached home I just wanted to sleep.But ,I forgot to do something .Guess what that was...It was thanking my parents especially my dad.He really really deserves it!Going to Reno…hey,that sounds way too ordinary...My rocking trip to Reno was the coolest of them all!Brr!!
